The Benefits of TMS Therapy

When you have major depressive disorder, obsessive-compulsive disorder, or anxious depression, you may be eligible for NeuroStar TMS therapy. NeuroStar Advanced TMS therapy can be an ideal treatment for patients with certain mental health conditions who cannot achieve relief with standard treatments such as medication and psychotherapy. Here, we cover some of the most important benefits of TMS therapy and how this treatment helps our patients.

What Are the Benefits of NeuroStar TMS Therapy?

NeuroStar is entirely non-surgical, non-medication, and non-invasive. It is also the number one doctor-recommended treatment for adults with MDD, OCD, and MDD with anxiety. It has a well-earned reputation for being one of the best TMS therapies for qualifying patients with clinical depression, obsessive-compulsive disorder, and anxious depression.

NeuroStar is Safe

NeuroStar is a safe, FDA-cleared treatment backed by extensive clinical research. As a non-medication treatment, NeuroStar does not come with the systemic side effects common with antidepressants and other mental health medications. Many patients deal with side effects from their medication, including GI issues, sexual dysfunction, and even suicidal ideation, but this is not the case with NeuroStar. Over 100,00 patients have been treated with NeuroStar.

No Anesthesia Required

During your appointment, you will be awake, alert, and comfortable. This is an important benefit of TMS therapy for many patients, especially those who cannot tolerate anesthesia or sedation. Unlike invasive treatments such as surgery and electroconvulsive therapy (ECT), NeuroStar does not require any anesthesia or sedation during your treatment.

NeuroStar Does Not Require Recovery or Downtime

Immediately after your TMS therapy session with Infinity Life Wellness Center, you can return to your daily life, including work and social activities, with minimal disruption. You do not have to wait or rest whatsoever. Unlike many competing treatments, NeuroStar Advanced TMS therapy requires zero downtime or recovery period post-treatment.

Rapid Symptom Management and Results

Research has demonstrated that NeuroStar can offer long-lasting results, adding to the many benefits of TMS therapy. Most NeuroStar patients experience significant improvements after completing the entire six-week program. Sixty-five clinical trials have shown positive NeuroStar results can last up to a year. Though we advise you to complete the full course, many patients have reported experiencing encouraging results from their NeuroStar therapy as early as their first session.

TMS Therapy is Affordable

One of NeuroStar’s most important benefits for our patients is that it can be very affordable. NeuroStar coverage is available to approximately 300 million Americans and is covered by major insurance providers, including Medicare, Medicaid, and Tricare. Additional financial assistance is available to qualifying and our specialists can help you discover if you are eligible for financial assistance.
